I am having problems opening the door . When i lift the exterior handle it reaches its stop before it unlatches the door ...sometimes ?

I havent had chance yet to strip the door and have a look but has anybody had experience of this ?

Stixy.
The link rod,like a bit of thick wire with a kink in it,needs bending to render it a little shorter,you can usually do it with pliers,if you accidentally pull it off the lock end,it's retained in a plastic bush with a little snap clip as part of it,which wraps around the rod,it's a bit dark and fiddly in there but not impossible.The top end has a flat on it which fits through a slot in the handle,and will not fall out unless you turn it through 90 degrees.

Stixy, theres nothing difficult, only the door insulation sheet is a bit messy.
