Title: 2,5tdi 92kW starting problems Post by a-way on Sep 17th, 2010, 7:28am Hello to all lately i have encountered a problem with starting my car. Occasionally when turning the key starter turns OK but the car won't fire up. When i do the starting sequence again it fires up or i have to do the sequence again until it does fire up. Any suggestions what might be the problem? injectors? injector pump? wiring ? |

Battery was changed last autumn with the same type as was the last one which lasted for 4 years and i changed it because it didn't start the car below -20C.( its on my brothers gasoline powered car and works just fine) |

Title: Re: 2,5tdi 92kW starting problems Post by a-way on Sep 17th, 2010, 9:47am nope glowplug light is on and when it disappears then i turn the key. But when i think about it then the starting problem is rather similar to the case when i don't wait the glowplug light to disappear and keep powering the starter. PS. I am from Estonia and i think my english is as good as it is (written English at least - u wouldn't want me hear speaking i guess... think of mika hakkinen speaking but even worse pronounciation) because i read a lot sci-fi and fantasy in english- i read books in my native language too quickly so its no fun anymore ;D |

A-way.if you remove the common connector from the top of the glow plugs you can test for continuity on each one, saves you removing them all. GOZZ. |
