I have a problem with the rear door,as it doesn't stay closed or locked. I followed the steps to take out the lock mechanism,but I have a problem separating the plastic part of the door handle from the locking mechanism. How can i post a picture,to show you the problem I am talking about?

Those who know tell me you need to 'host' your photos on 'Photobucket' or a similar site,then put them on here.
Do you mean the link rod between the handle and lock ?,if so it's held to the lock by a plastic clip which is prised open,then clicked back together after the work.

Yes,that's right,the link rod between the handle and the lock,how can I take it out?

At the lock end there is a little 'clamp' clip,usually red plastic,you need to open the clamp with a screwdriver,it's not powerful but is awkward,then pull the rod out sideways.The clip will not come out of the lock in it's entireity until the rod is released,since the rod passes through the part of it which is in the arm,the clip remains with the arm unless you need to replace it,which is rare.

Problem solved,thanks gozz. Now,another question,the door lock mechanism is the same on Scorpio as is on older Granada/Scorpio versions? as I need to replace it because an inner spring is broken?.

I don't know whether or not the Mk3 locks are the same,but there are still quite a few Scorpios in scrap yards,you should easily locate one.
Ah,just noticed where you are,maybe there are not too many there.

Yeap,in Romania there aren't so many of Mk3 but older versions can still be found easily.
