Title: Water in gearbox
Post by lleewar on Nov 28th, 2010, 9:55pm
Hi All. I think I have water in the gearbox as the level is showing quite high :( Does this mean I now need a new radiator and a oil and filter change???? Can I use the extreme version of radweld to seal the leak?? Any advice helpful please

Did you check the level when hot and running Lee,it's always high without the engine running,is the fluid milky ie emulsified ?.Busted heat exchangers are not a common fault ! if there is water in the transmission it should really be stripped to ensure perfection, too late for Radweld.
