Am just starting the wiring on my 24V Puma LOLOL

I'm currently stripping all the unrequired wiring from the ECU / Underbonnet loom, stripped from a 1995 24V Ultima Estate.
This is the one with the separate PATS module and EECV ECU.

There is an Orange Module near the ECU / Pats modules from behind the glovebox area.

Does anyone know what this module is for, as far as I can tell at a glance I think it may be to do with dipping the n/s door mirror in reverse ???

Not sure though and don't really want to trawl thru acres of wiring diagrams just yet ;)

Hi Dave On 16v auto models the wires from the selector mode switches and the o/d warning lamp come from it and from what i can make out its the "instrument interface module " Manual models i have broken dont have it but have the plug ? and 12v V6 models have a blue one ?

So I was right in dumping it then, won't be needed as I'm keeping the Puma "car" loom dash etc and just adding the Scorpio ECU and "engine" wiring.

I'm currently looking at removing the separate PATS module, was gonna keep it, but I reckon it could be more hassle than it's worth on a Rally car.

A buddy at FMD has given me "all" the wiring info lol, but what hes given me doesn't relate to the separate PATS at all :(

Anyone have any info they'd care to PM me ?

I know I need to put a new earth to the Puma starter inhibit relay, takes care of cranking, but up to now the rest looks confusing, gonna have a dig around l8r lol.
