how do you remove the fog light to get to the third light bolt to get Headlight out

If it is just a flasher lamp with false fog lamp,lever the lamp towards the outside of the car and pull it out,if its the separate foglamp type,similarly remove the flasher lamp first,look inside the holder and remove the screw then pull out the holder and the foglamp.

The details are in the handbook..Here (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/images/handbook124.gif). Once the light unit is out,as Gozz says, there is a screw securing the holder itself. Undo that and the it will release allowing you to see up and under the headlamp. :)
