Title: Re: CD Autochanger not ejecting or playing Post by Highlander on Jan 26th, 2011, 9:59am Does it say there is no CD or do you get an error? Try these ;D 1. Check the wiring about 4 to 6 inches back from the plug and check the wrap-around earth connection, solder as necessary. (CD player end) 2. Check the multiplug connection 3. Some printed circuit boards inside the CD Player have failed, possibly because of vibration - these can be re-soldered or taken to a specialist |

Title: Re: CD Autochanger not ejecting or playing Post by Highlander on Jan 26th, 2011, 2:28pm wiring or connectors then, if the CD unit connector and wiring is ok you may have to check the rear of the radio. The wiring loom runs from the CD changer over the rear wheel arch, along the inner passenger side sill (under the carpet) and up behind the glovebox I've seen the wires get pinched under the rear seat and screws from the plastic trim on the sill pierce them if they've not been replaced properly |

Title: Re: CD Autochanger not ejecting or playing Post by Tompion on Jan 26th, 2011, 3:41pm I may be wrong but I think mine has an in line fuse in the loom behind the radio. Just had a look, since the loom isn’t connected on mine I could drag it out from behind the dash (as it has an aftermarket changer fitted with it’s own loom) & it has a fuse a few inches back from the radio connector. |
