need some advice...there is about 1/4 pt of oil under the car 2.3 every morning engine oil..garage cant see or find leak

it seems to be around seal of where gearbox joins engine..but i thought there wasnt engine oil in the bell housing .? or am i talking nonsense,,,its not the oil filter or sump plug...i did have the auto box changed 4 mths ago so hence the connection in my mind...any ideas appreciated

Where oil drips off is not necessarily where it comes out. More likely higher up and is running down the back of the block (?)

Is the hose from the back of the cam cover to the air box secure?

not sure i undersatnd which hose you are referring to can you explain pls

I'm hoping it's from the top, not crankshaft seal.
