Hi I have a diesel 2.5, unfortunatley the engine doesnt turn of with the key! All the electrics turn off though, I have to stall it.
At a guess it has to be some sort of cut off that is broken, how do you get to cut off?

hi there is a soliod on the pump which normaly plays up this will need to be replaced.hope this helps.cheers geoff

Hi thanks for reply, I stalled the car instead of disconecting the battery to turn it off and the fuel pump started buzzing. Where is fuel stop solenoid on fuel pump?

???Ford won't be able to supply me a stop solenoid, just a injection pump.

is yours a fly by wire pump ?? if it is they dont have a stop solenoidl

Yes it is I think. What is the component with a single wire and round spade on back top of pump? also what would then be telling the engine to stop when you turn the key off?
