hiya got a small prob for you lol
the drivers speaker wont work but when you open the door it crackles, i know it must be a wire but i dont want to take all the wiring out etc do you think it could be in the lot of wires thats in the connector ?
there are quite a few wires anyone know what colour is the speaker one?

If you go to This page (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/radio995on.htm) and scroll down you'll find all the colours listed, including those to the speakers. Most likely cause is the cabling through the large rubber grommet to the door. Have you tried simply spraying the pins in the connector with contact cleaner?.

Could be just dirty connectors, might just need disturbing and putting back. Will mean taking the door liner off to get at, not difficult
