right car went for the mot and failed on a number of things but one thing we are trying figure out is what are front lower rear bushes????????
would it be the wishbone ones?
even my dad cant think what it is and dont want to buy the wrong bushes.

It is the large rear bushes on the wishbones. About 20.00 quid each. pretty easy job to do, make sure the cut out on the bush is at the top when fitted.

Make sure the nut is done up really tight to, i swapped mine after a knocking started and found the nut was lose!

If using FPUK talk to trevor, hes really helpful

Don't tighten the big nut unless the wheels are on the ground and the car has assumed it's normal rolling position,this ensures the bushes are not in a pre stressed state.

I reckon thats how it came lose in the first place, glad to say its stopped clunking on the front now, just got the rear to do this weekend ::) ;D
