I need a new air con pump for my 1996 scorpio 2.3 ultima auto estate any ideas where i can get one from also been told that the earlier mondeos will fit does anybody know if they will

Don't know about the Mondeo ones Angie,

Are you looking for a brand new one?

I have a second hand one if you want it?

Hi Angie I to had this problem allow me to warn you its a bit of a minefield when trying to source the correct one for your car I done a fair amount of research and unless a new one is purchased for your particular car then I would steer well clear and remember trying to source a used one, these cars have more than likely high mileage and wear and tear eventually means that the compressors break down (New About £350.00 "OUCH", what I done eventually was took a chance and had a used one fitted all ok so far (12 Months but it is a gamble, a garage will charge you about a hundred plus gas refill.

Good luck with this, BTW It was Stuart that supplied my replacement one and whether you take his kind offer up is entirely up to you.
