Hi , is there any easy way to open the boot from inside, via the back seats, any help/advice would be gratefully received

Its not easy but it can be done.

Is it a saloon or an estate?

its a saloon, i can see the mechanism thru the back seats

I'm guessing it means crawling inside, then you have to get the interior lid trim off. Then find the bit that the lock motor pushes and work that. Basically means grovelling about in the dark ;D

ok, i will see if i can do it, is it not possible to flick the mechanism in the back bulk bit where the lock is then?

the mechanism where the motor is ,in the boot, where if you look towards the rear of car from inside the boot with the seats down,

Yep, thats what Mike said :)

If you take the trim off you can push the lever and open it

Obviously the key lock doesn't work either? I only mention it 'cause that doesn't need the motor I believe.

They tell me looting is illegal north of the border Stuart,it's obviously not down here ::) but never mind,the prime minister has come back to sort them out ;D ;D ;D
