Title: Locked out (Arrrrgh) Post by SEScorpio on Aug 23rd, 2011, 11:33pm Can't believe it, Scorpio been sitting on the street five days and the remote won't open it. Tried the key in all three locks and no luck. Searched on here and tried the suggestions of WD40 in the lock still can't get in. Jiggled the key in the lock for so long that someone asked me if I was trying to break in!!! Help please. This is why you must have at least 1 door lock that works with the key ;D Plus, the coded key cuts are not needed to lock, only unlock. Unfortuately worn keys / locks are the bane of our lives, how many keys have you got? Have you got the red master key? A different key might work, else have a new one cut but that's still no guarantee, depends what (worn) state the locks are in. Although the passenger side is less likely to be much worn I would think so in theory could have more success there. |

Some scrote had a go breaking in earlier this year and the boot hasn't worked since then. My poor Scorpio has had a hard life. :'( Thanks for the PM Snoopy. |
