Title: ABS and TC -will not communicate

Few months ago had ABS/TC lights on. Fault code said n/s rear sensor faulty. Replaced it with sensor from 2.0 being gradually dismantled-fault cleared and was ok for 3 weeks then recurred sometimes on startup, sometimes rolling and was intermittent. When code read said "cannot communicate". Subsequent reading (a week later) gave "n/s rear sensor faulty". again. Fault cleared again and was ok for two weeks but now has recurred and again is giving "cannot communicate"(with ABS).
Does anyone have any experience of this and any ideas as to causes?
