Hi all i have a 97 scorpio saloon with the individual heater control. One day we were driving and it came on full blast, was spitting white plastic things at us and hasnt stopped since. You can still change the temp but cant turn it off. The only way to turn it off is to dissconnect. Any thoughts?

The white stuff may be the pollen filters but its unlikly, try the reset procedure its in the main site, ill post it up when im home (using mob at wirk lol) unless im beaten to it by one of the other guys

Daniel, when you do look at the site check out the 'buttons' on the side of that page particularly the ones about the Blower Motor and the pollen filters. :)

Hi all
Just driving back after visiting nan and the heater blower was driving me crazy :) so i started to mess with it a bit whilst the car was moving i turned the blower into off position even so it was still at full blast? and held the Recirculated Air and air con buttons for 10 secs then the numbers 50 and 57 came on the left/pass side digital numbers. Looked what the fault code is but cant find it any ideas? ???

The 57 may be a spurious reading and should read 07 which would be a defective HBC try the checks for the HBC (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/hbctest.htm) All the info you need is on the main site

Yep spot on mate 07 and 57 i will look into this now. Thanks ;D
