Title: Cosworth BOB engine intake resonator query

We are fitting our Cosworth engine (base vehicle finally died) into a Scimitar GTE, space is at a premium!. We would like to dispense with resonator box attached to inlet manifold and possible change the air filter. Anyone done this? Does anyone know what is the effect of not having the box

Its restrictive and can be dumped, use the rubber to keep the maf infront of the plastic intake pipe and fit a cone filter with air feed, then listen to it snort n growl lol
