I had Aircon Direct come to re-gas today (the guys who came to the Orpington meets a few years ago). My air con has not been working for a while so I assumed it needed a re-gas, it didn't!

Long story short it is a weird electrical problem. We went through each component testing, jumping the de-ice switch etc. I swapped out the SATC this pm and checked all the connectors.

The compressor comes on and works if a live supply is jumped to the top pin on the WOT relay - could this be the signs of the aux fusebox issue?

I did notice a few weeks ago the lights on and in-drive audible warning didn't work, now both do.

Any ideas welcome ;)

Hi next to the passenger head light behind the black cover is the lquid reciver for the ai con, on top of this reciver there is a pressure switch ive had that a lot with the scorpios change the switch and it should work. I have the switches if you need one.

If you do change the pressure switch there is a valve beneath it,so the system will not deplete when the switch is removed.

The pressure switch was checked and is working ok. Any other suggestions? ;)

Dave, we had a problem recently where the cause was duff wiring . I had suggested the 'route' across the car to the drivers side by the rad but can't recall the location. Will try and search further. Good luck and love to Jo, Mike. ;)
