what is wrong with the one you have? There are a few tricks you can do to try and get them working again.

There is no display but it lights up

I believe I am right in saying if you put the whole unit in the freezer for a bit it often gets the screen working. It has been posted on here before.

In my experience, freezing the (removed) LCD display only works temporarily (best I had was a further six months)....buying a good working one is probably the best bet :)
