Title: low volt engine wires need replacing
Post by wheelrim on Jun 14th, 2013, 9:15am
I can see that the thin wires on top of the engine on my 16 valve 2L 1996 Scorpio are becoming fragile.
I have heard of insulation becoming brittle and it is now happening.
Do you know if new wiring loams are available or is it possible to obtain suitable wire then produce my own replacement?
I think I am lucky as this is the first time I've had this problem in the 10 years that I've owned 6 Scorpios and Ultima estates.
Keep the wheels turning.
