About two weeks ago my 95 Cossie developed intermittent alarm sounding. I noticed that this only happened when it was double locked so I suspected the ultrasonics.
It has been sat on the drive for a week or so but I took it out today.
Found that the drivers door window buttons don't work, nor are they lit up. The side mirror doesn't work either nor the seat memory buttons (they are not lit up either)
The other windows work from their respective buttons and the puddle lights and central locking work on the drivers door.
I have checked fuses 25&26 -they are ok and I have undone and sprayed the door multiplug to no avail.
Any ideas other than a faulty door module ?

Wiring damage in the loom feeding the connector as it passes from the door pillar to the door?.

Thanks Simmo, I presume you mean the bit inside the thick rubber sleeve ?
Does the door module have anything to do with the mirrors ?

Glyn, does sound loom related. Suspect door switch for alarm fault.
Have you changed the said door module with the replacement unit.

No Adam, I haven't changed the module-it's the other cossie.
If the door switch was faulty wouldn't it be the same on single lock as double lock? - it has not alarmed on single lock and it is double locked at the moment and so far ok-5 hours.

Glyn, if I recall. When deadlocked ultrasonics are disabled.
Hence, loom or switch fault.

Yes that's exactly what I mean in relation to the loom.
All the wires to the door go through there and of course the mirror is operated from the switch.
I've just looked at Snoopy's wiring diagram (https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?cid=EB36F845EA9B8FB6&resid=EB36F845EA9B8FB6%21202&app=WordPdf&wdo=1) and it would seem the mirrors are controlled via the door module. ;)

The diagrams for the door locks is Here (https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?cid=EB36F845EA9B8FB6&resid=EB36F845EA9B8FB6%21151&app=WordPdf&wdo=1) but I can see no reference to the door module?. :)

Adam, the handbook states "The interior sensing alarm is activated in conjunction with the double locking system".
Thanks Simmo, that is interesting. I cant see a reference to the door module in the door locks diagrams either,but as you say it is on Snoopy's wiring diagrams.
Guess I will start with the wiring and see if there is power and ground to the module whilst I look inside the rubber tube.
By the way the alarm has not gone off yet (20 hrs) !

Thanks Glyn for the clarification.
I had previously read that a deadlock vehicle disabled motion sensors.
This may relate to one of my previous vehicles.
