Cant get the remotes to work (car only came with one which had a flat battery so have never had one working) - is the little red light on the dash the 'link'? it doesn't flash or do anything so maybe needs replacing? Have done the procedure for re programming which hasn't helped but all 'bleeps' came at the right time so I think I've done in right and fitted new batteries to all three I have.

The 'little red light' is an indicator for the PATS system.Have a read of This page (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/pats.htm). If you have no light at all it is possible the unit has dropped down. You could gently prise up the lamp holder to check. :)

On mine the red dash light was only ever visible in the dark.

Mine too so I changed it for a high brightness one.

Was the remote issue resolved?

There are at least two different procedures for programming the fob, IIRC.

Instructions depend which version you got. Mine was never the same as what everyone said it should be on here ;D

Fortunately I had car's original handbook.
