Title: Re: Core plugs 2.9 12V Post by Scorpio_Mike on Jun 10th, 2014, 1:23pm Try contacting Burton Power - they should be able to supply and I think a full set is under £10 ;) |

Title: Re: Core plugs 2.9 12V Post by Scorpio_Mike on Jun 12th, 2014, 4:35pm Assume this is the core plug on the rear of 1 of the cylinder heads - any chance of getting a long / deep clamp over it to set the new core plug in place ? Something like a sash clamp ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-JOINERS-SASH-CLAMPS-1100mm-x-200mm-Steel-Pair-Vintage-/131212739430?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item1e8ce38366 Just doing a bit of thinking outside the box to try and save you some time & effort ! |

Title: Re: Core plugs 2.9 12V Post by Scorpio_Mike on Jun 12th, 2014, 6:15pm Well, I had the 2.8i V6 out of a Mk2 Granada and back in the same day on my own...it was a cold January day and I was a lot younger then... Only had an A-frame gantry and a winch to do it with...Mk2 Grannies are flippin' heavy to push I can tell you :o |
