Help! I was at a music festival over the weekend and went to the car for a rest. I reclined the driving seat and lay back for 10 minutes. Afterwards the seat wouldn't go back to the upright position. I can hear the motor but nothing happens. I tried pulling the seat at the same time as pushing the lever but without success. I was forced to drive the car home with the seat back horizontal. Not very comfortable and probably illegal. How can I fix it please?

In case you need it the seat manual is here (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/seatsmanual.htm). It sounds as though the drive mechanism has been disconnected. :(
