Title: Re: Light problem Post by Simmo on Nov 26th, 2014, 6:26am This page (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/faultfinds.htm) lists a number of faults caused by the connections to the light switch. Scroll down to 'electrical' and click the link which will detail how to remove the switch. It is usually pin 15 which causes the problem. Check the large connector for signs of overheating as it is usually more obvious on that. ;) Let us know how you get on please. :) |

Title: Re: Light problem Post by Tompion on Nov 29th, 2014, 7:05pm Strange, looked for the post about locating the pins for the fusebox multiplug yesterday since then one of the pictures has changed to a christmas card: http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=admin;action=display;num=1267895931 |

Title: Re: Light problem Post by Simmo on Nov 29th, 2014, 7:09pm Two minds with a single thought ;D The point is have you put the connector back correctly?. It can appear to be ok BUT actually be one row of pins out. Tompion has posted the link so make sure the lugs are in the correct position before pushing it down. ;) UPDATE. There is a saying on here re the connector. "If it goes down easily the first time it probably 'aint right!!" ;D |
