Help i have a 24v engine and my middle chain guide is broken found it in the sump while renewing gaskets ive looked all over but cannot find anywhere that stocks them
any help would be grateful
would buy a new one or if someone has a used

its center guide just above the crank

I think I have 2 of the 3 guides somewhere in my garage - not sure which ones but I'll have a look.

Parts appear to be available from stock.

Not sure how long it will take me to locate the parts - assuming I still have them - may be best to contact Burton Power.

Unfortunately the one I need is the small one with one bolt hole in it and a locating dowel

Burton lists it as no longer available.

Engines no good without it .so if you have one that would be fantastic.

OK, had a look and found the 2 I thought I had.
Part numbers are FB1308 & FB1315
Both are new.

Mike, have you got a o/s timing chain tensioner, I still want one to recondition.

The 2 parts I have appear to be the L/H & R/H timing chain tensioners - take a look at the earlier link I posted for pics & let me know which one you are looking for.

The part I need is number 6 on the part diagram

Small grey black guide one straight above the crank

Will be renewing everything but only if I can find this part

Thanks for looking, I have the parts, nonreturn valve and plunger, but I would like to recon one and then fit that.

Got 3 emails today Burton power / motormobil /boost performance. All say no longer available.

The solution may be to manufacture one

Still hopeful someone has one of knows someone who can help

Do you have all the bits of the broken item which could be stuck back together ?
Might be worth trying an engineering business with access to a 3D scanner & CNC machine to see if they can create a copy ???

Unfortunately I don't have all the pieces but if I can get hold of a complete used one I can get it 3d scanned by my son at college. Then have new one made from scan. Someone somewhere must have one if not it will mean the death of the 24v.

I would try here: he does a lot of BOA / BOB rebuilds so prob carries a full set of spares
