Hi
Just noticed I'm getting no heat from the climate control just cold air when on high. Engine temp is fine and I don't think the heater matrix has been bypassed and my front screen demister only works on the passenger side but that is a separate issue. Any ideas?

Can only be one of two things. Either the heater matrix (or flow to it) is completely blocked, or the vent control flaps have seized (although very unlikely) in the wrong position. To start with, feel the matrix hoses (engine bulkhead) to check they are not cold. If they are cold, you will need to drain the coolant and locate blockage. If it is the matrix, it's the worst job ever to replace. The matrix can sometimes be cleaned with an overnight Oxi-soak and then reverse flushing with a hosepipe. Good luck :)

I changed my matrix way back when. It's eminently do-able but a complete faff. Took a full day of dismantling, 10 mins to swap new for old, then next day putting it all back together again. That was for the Cosworth: part of inlet manifold off; dash, centre console, steering wheel, glove compartment out etc. There's info/write up (not mine) on the site somewhere.

You need to be thorough and remember what screws/bolts go where and fairly physically flexible (or have someone who is) esp when lying in the footwells trying to access bolts, etc to gain access.
