Title: Second car insurance Post by ben24v on Dec 17th, 2015, 5:17pm Hi everyone, This is my first post! What insurance companies do people recommend? I'm 33 and live in Birmingham so I'll probably have to pay through the nose. Anyway I pick the car up on Sunday (on a flat bed) and I have a couple of jobs to do before putting it on the road. I'm keen to get involved with the forum and hope to meet up with some fellow scorp owners local to me soon. Thanks Ben |

Title: Re: Second car insurance Post by ben24v on Mar 6th, 2016, 6:59pm Just been quoted £2500 by LV if I don't use my no claims discount, £1400 if I do. I've got 8 years NCD but its on another car. The cheapest quote I've had so far is £650 from performance direct with 5000 mile limit. I'll call my current insurer tomorrow and negotiate with them |

Title: Re: Second car insurance Post by ben24v on Mar 7th, 2016, 1:07pm I went with greenlight in the end, £251 tpft 3000 miles any mods I want for free and I can upgrade to 5000 at any time for about £40. I could have fully comp for £369 with 5000 but I'm alright with what I bought. My current insurance company wanted £605 and they where the next cheapest :) Mot booked for Wednesday |
