looking at the bit about the date code I was amazed to see that they recommend that tyres shouldn't be used after 6 years..... I recently bought another 1967 Corsair auto which had only covered 1938 miles from new. It was still on its original tyres and has recently passed an MOT on them!! so they are now 43 years old!
