Don't know if this can go in the "how to".....

So, my 7000RDS died and after seeing how much replacements go for on ebay (£50) I thought I'd upgrade to a nice MP3 player with a USB port. Found a nice Pioneer 1500UBG (with green lighting to match the Scorp) but I was really struggling to find an adaptor to fit the Scorp.

But alas, after some investigation and finding out the only other car using the same remotes as our cars was the late model MK2 Ghia Mondeos, I stumbled across this:-

And I can confirm it works perfectly! Just remember to order the counterpart lead for your specific make of stereo (Kenwood, JVC etc).
