Title: front drop link replacement
Post by rodhgv on May 17th, 2013, 3:55pm
Hi,just replaced front drop links and can't understand why everyone is bending spanners, unless my car is different to others here how i did it .Just forward of the top mounting in the chassis rail is an oblong cutout ,reverse a spanner into this then place the end being used into the shroud that hides the top mount cutout then turn the nut until the spanner engages the cutouts. BOBS YOUR UNCLE I believe this is what the oblong cutout in the chassis rail is for. Regards ROD

If you turn the steering you can get a spanner on it without putting it through the chassis.
