Hi all,

Drove down to Somerset over the Bank holiday.

Travelled from Nottingham to Minehead and return - M1, M42, M5 Didn't see a single Scorpio all weekend!! - very unusual

Where was everyone??

On another point - Didn't see a single police car either - any connection?? ;)

minehead,i know it well,living in somerset,i try not to venture too much out on the roads over the holiday weekends..........
too many tourists about.. ;) ;) ;)...
and as for gridlock on the M5.......

hope you had a good time down here though....

Always do Craig, we come down 4/5 times a year for the last 15 odd years!!

The place we stop at is actually just outside Porlock..straight out onto Exmoor - wonderful!! :D

Saturday night spent out and about in Minehead, Sunday night spent in the village pub.

Take your point about gridlock - took us 2 hours just to get past Bristol coming home yesterday, still, with the climate control doing its job, autobox and plenty of choice on the CD changer, traffic jams are a doddle!! 8)

porlock and exmoor...
you must be a sucker for hills and narrow lanes,having said that,yes,a beautifull part of the country,and i love it here,have also spent many a summers evening in the pub in minehead called "the hairy dog" (i know,who thought of that !!!......
let me know when you are down this way again,i'll drive around especially for you chad.. :) :) :)

in 430 miles of driving over the bank holiday i only seen 1 scorp and that was on my way home last nite :D

Bank Holiday Monday saw my Scorpio on the M4 where a nice man in a people carrier did his best to right off my scorpio when he pulled over into my lane as I was passing him we collided side on side at 70mph the people carrier is a right off, still waiting to find out about my Scorpio
