Last month had a chance for follow a saloon for a few miles, so now I know what I look like from the back to other traffic! Can't remember the reg now but nearly as old as mine (1995) - 'P' possibly. Same colour too I think (aubergine, which I'm increasingly convinced is a real classy colour). So I was interested in what the rear lights look like since same as mine. All red except the indicators light up orange (which we know about) but actually looks very unusual while you're watching them, compared with everything else on the road, but the brake lights a bit understated I think, seemingly just little squares. No badges except 'Ford' of course so if you don't know what it is you never will! Looks like a big car from the back with the wide tyres set full out to the max body width. I live in Essex so used to glimpse them fairly often about year or so ago, not so much lately it seems, but the other week was parked in a local shopping centre, came back to the car and found an identical one, same colour even parked next to it!
