Makes a change from someone driving a dead/dying scorpio  :P
RIP to the poor soul in it, good way to travel your last journey though!

i think they've been used quite a bit as hearse's, the funeral directors in brixton hill has one, but the other cars they use are older scorpios, was stuck in traffic next to one yesterday and i noticed a small baby size coffin mounted between the driver and passenger seat. i thought that had quite a sad meaning till the driver opened the lid and took a sandwich out!

Three stretch funeral cars today coming out of the crematorium outskirts of Durham.
one of them would be good for parts never having been over 30mph

My most embarrasing moment ocurred a few years ago on the M32 coming out of Bristol. I saw a black Scorpio (like mine) in front so (naturally) thought I'd burn past it. As I moved out to pass, there was another black Scorpio in front. Cool! As I floored it, I saw a 3rd Scorpio with a high top..... you can guess the rest.

I'll never forget the expression of the weeping lady in the rear Scorpio as she saw, what appeared to her to be a funeral car, belting off in the fast lane.

As cossieguy said, its the only way to go on that last journey. Consider it as a 'fly past' in honour.  :-[

As they say in the legal profession.......... Where there's a will.....There's a Stiff!!

I once had to go to a funeral at 6 AM.
I shouldn't have been there.

I'm not a mourning person.  ;D  ;D
