Title: Re: silver facelift Post by taliban on Oct 16th, 2006, 4:52pm that plate must be worth a fortune andy, i do enjoy being at a set of lights on my bike, twisting the throttle and leaving everything for dead, especially if theres a flash git who's in a porsche with a bimbo, seems to really upset them ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D |

Title: Re: silver facelift Post by Baz on Oct 16th, 2006, 8:07pm Unless you come across this one: The Fastest Car going from 0-60 is held by a 2000 Chevy Camaro ZL1 running a 572 c.i. 770 H.P. 683Lbs.Torque that shot out of the hole in 2.7 seconds A bit fast??!! |
||
Title: Re: silver facelift Post by taliban on Oct 16th, 2006, 8:28pm ooooooh, very fast, for a car, o-60 in 2.7 seconds is around the average for a sportsbike, however, i have to stress that the figures for bikes 0-60 are manufacturers figures. a lot of it is power to weight ratio; dry weight of say a suzuki gsxr 1000 is about 170kg, okay, make that nearer 200 with fuel, oil etc, add the rider, so about 350kg being propelled by a power output of around 165bhp, at the crank, a fair bit of power lost through the final chain drive, so about 150bhp hitting the tarmac, coupled to an engine that redlines around 15,000rpm..... |
