Saw a Pepper Red R reg behind me today going through Bromley (road along Bromley North) Gave him a quick hazard flash but nothing in return

Than further up my journey saw another Pepper Red (didnt catch plate) coming out of Orpington towards Bromley, gave him a flash (ooo err) but nothing in return.
