Saw the above today while driving away from East Mersea near Colchester in Essex, bootiful white facelift with dark grey/black aftermarket rims parked up on a grass verge...

Did look smart, I must say :D ;)

What were you doing in East Mersea Bruce ?....

I was up there on Sunday, visiting my folks :)

Nice place Jonny, I go over there sometimes :)

Better than God awful Clacton, getting too crowded and built up round here. Did some work over there a couple of years back, really like the place for some reason...tempted to move if we had the money :)

So you must know Cudmore Grove park at the end of East Mersea then Bruce.....

....that's where we filmed the MK1 Granada vid ;)

My folks used to live on West Mersea, but sold up about 3 years ago & bought a house in Spain for the winter & a 40' static caravan on East Mersea (Cosways), for the summer :)

Yeah, 'tis a nice place, would be a crying shame if they built on every space like they have around here :'(

Couldn't care less for Clacton but you've only got to drive 5 miles and you're in open country, could be much worse I suppose. A lot of people around here don't know what's around them, same with the holidaymakers...all flock to the town centre and beach near the pier, go 2 miles up the road and the beach is empty...

Tempted to get this place valued while prices are still good, bought it in late 2004 for £180k, by the time the refurb is finished hopefully by the end of the summer, I reckon we could clear £350k plus on it...it's just madness.

Just an excuse for a drive and to stray away on a nice day ::)
