It didn't happen to look a little like this one -

I presume you were in the silver Scorpio with the 12 spokers I happen to see pass by coming from Evans Halshaw (FORD).
Did you manage to get what you wanted from them or as usual did they tell you it was no longer serviced  }{

Anyhoo, let's have a look then at this one that's exactly the same then ;D

Mike

Hi Mike, yes it was I who was driving out from Evans Halshaw.
You have a great looking Scorp there  ;)
The seven spokes set it off well.
I have just purchased these (Team Dynamics) 18" Alloys direct from the manufacturer in the Midlands and will be fiiting them asap http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/5309/bqjjdjgmkkgrhgookjkejll.jpg
I was only picking up my usual service parts, always in stock luckily enough.  8)
I have only recently bought this particular silver Cosworth from another forum member (Frank) in Hampshire.
I own five of them now and still looking for the next one.  ::)
Most of my family and friends reckon i need medical assistance.  ;D

I have also fitted my bespoke 1/2 wood steering wheel direct from the USA, taken from my Black Scorp that was written off ( Drunk Driver   {} >:(  ).

Are you based in the North West?
Who fitted your towbar Mike, as this is also on my ever increasing to do list  ;)
I believe 98' onwards have to be type approved!

Here's another one!

Only kidding, it's actually a steering wheel cover ::)

You have a very nice looking car there Adam, I hope it's not for breaking as it looks far too good! I really wish I had the room for more, not that I could afford to really buy any more or more importantly bring myself to breaking one up. I would only end up trying to fix it.  }{

Those wheels will look awesome when fitted with their elastic bands to which ever car they are destined for.  ;D
Please do photograph them when fitted I would love to see them.

I live in Bury and the towbar was fitted by a company just off Rochdale Road called Peter Bowman Towing Centre (http://www.towing.co.uk/). They were "all right" though I did have to modify/correct some of their work.

The type approved towbar (expensive) is not required for vehicles registered prior to September 1998 as far as I am aware.

Thanks Mike, No this one is not for breaking. I thought it was law that NO scorpio is to be scrapped  ;D
I will post up some pics of the new alloys fitted when the elastic bands are on. ;D
Thanks for the info on the Towbar.
Will give Bowman's a ring for a quote as i too live not too far from Bury.
