Went to look at a job in our new multi million pound sports complex and saw this in the car park....

It appears to be an German Scorpio ex-taxi. Certainly the right colour!

Some pretty awful parking going on there...bays are marked clearly enough ???

I like the colour, was it one of the production colours for mainland europe ?

It was a colour specific to the special Taxi version sold in Germany I think. A google images search shows that most German taxis are that light beige colour; regardless of manufacturer... See below images:

I did notice that the Scorpio looks very small compared to the two cars either side of it!!

I've been over to Germany many times and there are tons of Mercedes Taxi's in the same colour.

do a google image search for "German Taxi" and you will see that it is a required colour for taxis there. Private hire cars can be any colour like they are over here
