Post by craig on May 1st, 2005, 5:48pm regarding the meet planned for this year,hopefully a big convey is in the process of being arranged to travel as a big unit into weston super mare............... anybody wishing to join in,could you please reply to this topic,the plan so far is basically this,several convoys already arranged will all be meeting up at gordano services which in situated between junction 18 and junction 19 of the M5,times are to be arranged,before i proceed any further with this,i wanted to see what the interest would be..... any takers ? regards craig.. |

Post by Lee on May 1st, 2005, 8:41pm i'm coming from the M25 area meeting at south Mimms at silly o'clock hope to have four or five as we leave there then traveling round to M4 passing all services hopefully picking up more scorps on way till we get to gordano about midmorning for big convey in to weston,,, then onto Pub |

Post by craig on May 10th, 2005, 7:28pm at the moment,there is a plan in the making to try to arrange a convoy down to the meet at WSM this year,early indications are that everybody who wants to travel into weston this way should make plans to gather at the service station at junction 19 of the M5,(gordano service station),the services are only on 1 side of the motorway,and are easily accessable for both north and south bound traffic,at the moment,the arranged time is to leave no later than 9.30,so anytime between 9-9.30 seems to be good..... confirmation to follow... so watch this space... |

Post by craig on May 11th, 2005, 6:53am lee..... it's pretty much out of my control to tell you the truth,to leave gordano at 9.30,means arriving at weston at about 10.30 (traffic/problems/you know the rest !!),and i know michael would like everybody to be there for 11 (ish)...... i know gordano to weston is about 1/2 an hour,but if there is going to be as many cars as people are predicting,then it will take longer to try to keep us all together,but watch this space lee,more details will follow when all is "set in stone" so to speak.... |

Post by craig on Jul 18th, 2005, 5:51pm i think there is still talk about several members meeting up at gordano services on the m5 on the sunday morning,i will endeavour to find out some more,i unfortunatelly will not be able to attend the meeting at the services for the journey down,but will still be at the meeting,just travelling over from home with a couple of other people,seems a waste of time going 40 miles up the motorway just to travel down another 40....... will find out some more details,and will post back for you.. |

Post by craig on Jul 24th, 2005, 9:03am oh well,this time next week i guess cars will be starting to gather at the meeting at weston,and for the drive down to weston via a mini meeting at gordano services on ther M5,................. :) just hope the weather is a lot better than today.... it's p****ng down here today,and the forcast is not brilliant either........ :'( :( :(... see you all there i hope though..... oh,except good old paul b that is,unfortunatelly he has been totally selfish and cant make the trip down,why i here you all ask...... well the following weekend,paul and maddy are getting married,and i for one would like to be one of the first to wish them every happines for the big day,and all the very best for the future.....
