just wondering if there are any plans by anyone on here to organise a big meet next year at all.......??????

testing the water here,because i may (emphasis on the MAY) consider planning something in the somerset area

thoughts anyone ?????????????????????????????????

I would definitely be up for attending as I have just bought a scorpio 2.3 ultima manual 1997 and live in Bridgwater, I can't belive the following these cars have got! :D

nothing set in stone as of yet,few things to consider....
1.all depends on what other meeting are being planned for next year.....
2.testing the water to see if it would generate enough interest to warrent planning it....

would love to try to organise something,but things are still in the very early planning stage.................

anybody else have an opinion ?

You know my thoughts mate ;)

The Weston meet will not happen next year as the hotel have put up the prices ect. So a meet in that area would be great!

Good for you Craig for thinking about taking the task on!

only big meet i know of will be harewood house, leeds in june (father's day).

you can turn up at most of the meets, but the harewood house one is by ticket only. more info nearer the time as in how to get a ticket, etc.

I've got a p reg dark metallic green 2.3 ultima, getting married in august next year in wells. Using the scorpio for that, so if you see a scorpio next year in full dressage you knows whos it will be! ;)

That looks amazing. Polished to pristine as well. Nice colour to! I don't know what the wife to be would say about a fleet of scorpios though! ;)

Hi, if you take older gits I'd be interested in meet in Somerset as I come from Devon. I've got a 2.9 V24 Ultima that I know absolutely nothing about, except it's a good wagon for drivin'

But no, mine is State Blue.

As for Harewood... I don't know :-/ It's a long old way.

still "toying" with the idea andrew,it certainly maybe a possibility,the interest is there from other people,and i would like to organise a meet in somerset as this would probably be the only 1 i would attend as the other planned meets involve too much travelling personally for me... :-/....
i personally think that the WSM venue was brilliant,5 mins from the beach,5 mins to the town centre,wives and children were all catered for...... :).....
but back to the original question,yes,the same/similar venue at weston might be "goer" :-/......
any plans/updates will be posted...... :)

I might be able to organise something in the Chester area this year.

Its got very good road links and there are some quite good venues, but as I say will post back when I have further information.

Chester - the walled city!

Supposedly haunted by a Roman guard who walks part of the North wall! :o

Nice place, just applied for a job there :D 75 mile a day round trip though!

PS Andrew it is West Cheshire on the border with North Wales :)
