hi there

as some of you will be aware, ford motorsport won the manufacturers wrc tittle.

the rally team, m-sport (http://www.m-sport.co.uk/html/opening.asp?language=english), is based in Cumbria. i've found out that they do site tours, including the wrc rally cars workshop!

the tours are on tuesday & thursday evenings at a cost of £150+VAT for a group of 10. (thursday's are better for me. ;))

not sure if anyone is up for this. :-/

it's definitely something different! :)

have a think about it and let me know what you think.

btw, we might be able go with less than 10, i would need to check.

Yeah could manage that... I even know the way to dovenby hall...

And I can show you where Malcom Wilson's old SAAB garage used to be before Adrain Smith took it over ( and closed last year... )...

hi there

i've been a bit quiet on this meeting. i'm having to go into hospital for a small operation (slipped disc), so will need to postpone the meeting until later in the year. maybe a couple of months (i'll check with my consultant). :-/

sorry about this, as i really wanted to go to this place. :(

unless someone else wants to take it up; i'll give them the details that i have. :)

hi there

thanks for the kind words. i'm taking it easier ::), but all the small jobs are building up now!

i'll give m-sport a call in a couple of weeks to see what dates are available and to see if there is any age limits, etc.

by the look of it, we have 10 places, but i'll need to confirm everything beforehand.
