rob,s been quiet lately on the borders meet, does any one up this end fancy organising a meet for us far northerners. i can,t  think of a decent venue , any one help me? (stu or andy ?)

Hi Neil

Its all gone very quiet regarding a North of the border meet.

How about the Two Bridges in Queensferry some Sunday lunchtime. Good carpark and great place to take photographs of scorpio lineup.

which side of the border are the two bridges?not much point if it,s just me and you,
we,ll wait a while and see if there is any more interest, incidentally i can come any time as my time is my own (aint i a lucky b*****r)

South side, half way between the two bridges. My time is also flexible now I sign myself as: -

Project Manager (retired)
Big Game and specimen Trout & Salmon collector.

Good beer as well.
Scimitar club meets first Tuesday of the month so they are used to oddballs

I hope you are not suggesting that my car is not capable of travelling 4 miles.
I will have you know that both my cars will do a 4 mile trip with a fair chance of arriving.

Ah that,s what the two brigs are ,see where your coming from stuart , no wonder ali suggested it, a borders meet?,no probs from me ali  as long as there is somewhere to drop the girls off for their shopping, is auld reekie convenient?. andrew,s suggestion of the glasgow transport museum seemed to be just as convenient, we will wait and see what the response is.

I'm easy, anywhere suits me although I havent been to the transport museum for probably 20 plus years now :)

Now you're talking. South Queensferry is just right for me. Less than half a mile to travel and all the comforts of home... perfect.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for the date of the meet.

Wouldn't be far for me either, just a couple of miles over the Forth Road bridge  ;) Another suggestion would be the small car museum at Boness.

we were talking about going to the transport museum in Glasgow at one time.

Hi there this sounds very promising ,if its in glasgow id be very interested ,does anyone thats coming have the lil magic box that tells you all your faults ect (and how much you need to borrow from the bank manager he he ) ,...let me know what your planning guys ,,,a scottish meet would be superb ,,,by the way i seen 3 scorpio,s in Aberdeen the weekend just gone ,maybe theres a little revival going on !  ....later  ;D
