Back again folks.

The next Kent meet is due on 28 Nov at Badgers Mount pub (here (http://www.aboutmyplace.co.uk/showmap?id=867272&type=postcode&search_location=TN14%207AD)).

Best to get there by 12ish to beat the pre Xmas dinner rush.

Looking forward to meeting the usual (and any new) crew.

Likewise.  ;)  Looks like there could be a 'Masterclass' in changing ABS units by Tompion so book early for a front row seat!!. ;D

Bruce. The post code is TN14 7AD and it's shown at the top of the map which comes up when you click on the link in Pauls post.  ;D

Hello Paul. Mo will probably decide on the day and no, I havn't took the cover off because when I open the lid, I don't know what anything is so I  get frightened and shut it quick. I still miss the comfort of the Scorp though. Oh well, at least I was lucky and had one.

Just had the old girl cleaned and polished ready for Sunday.
Now the airbag light has started to come on!

Fred. Have a read of This page (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/airbags.htm). The most likely cause is the 'clockspring' connector in the steering wheel. You will see that the light flashes a code and the details are in the article. ;D  Mike

TO ALL.
In view of potential weather problems on Sunday for the South East I suggest we all check this post at about 9am on Sunday, before leaving home ,to get an idea of what conditions are like across the area and thus how many.if any, are likely to turn up.  :(

Dave, It doesnt look too bad weatherwise in our area so I`m deffo making the effort.  I`m leaving the old girl at home and bringing the Scorp instead.  ;D

Great Meet.  Good to see all of you, and a special thankyou to Tompion for the unit exchange.  The Scorp behaved properly on the way home.  Just got to sort out the temp guage and she`ll be good as new.
I`ll hopefully post some pics tomorrow.
Must get a wooden battery for my new key fob. ;D

BTW did Gost realise that you have to put batteries in a SatNav?

A good meeting especially as we didn’t stand outside for long. Fred, the motor pins were the problem on your ABS – you don’t get a refund on the exchange though :).

I`m glad it turned out to be as suspected. Thanks again for the on the spot repair.  Far better than the AA  :) :)

Another year - I’ll probably need to find the self destruct module so I can immobilise it by the next MOT as it’ll probably reach 200,000 miles by then :).
