Hi All,
the usual suspects (Simmo, Tompion, me) are planning to meet at the Badgers Mount on Sunday 4 Dec.

It'll be nice to see some of the other old faces and possibly some new ones.

Not this time again I'm afraid. Still have no motor. Not brave enough( scared of getting wrong and the d**n cold) as yet to remove the head to replace the gasket which I got very cheap from a Ford outlet. Soon, very soon I hope. Lee

Gentleman. 'The last of the Summer wine' trio,Tompion,Pegasus and myself plus Trevor (Pagey) and Molly made the meet today and enjoyed a convivial hour or so in the bar. The next meet is likely to be in the Spring so watch this space. We wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Mike. :D

Guys,
Sorry we couldn't make it today.
Good intentions of coming along to meet up with a smashing bunch of people but had some urgent stuff to do which had to be done :'(
The Scorpio is now packed away in the garage - had to remove the towball and the front bumper - and it was still tight :o
Now using the Jeep for the next few months in anticipation of some snow...
Must remember to SORN the Scorpio and send the tax disc back for a refund ;)

I think you ought to change your 'Tag' to Merlin. How the hell you got that car in the garage with all the kit it normally holds is nothing short of magical ! ??? ;D

Yeah that picture was taken in 2005 - don't think it is actually Mike's car but it was close enough ;-)

The first meet I went to was at Orpington in Aug 2003 - one of the hottest days on record!
