Hi All,
after another year it's time for the Kent meet. It's at the usual meeting place at the Badgers Mount here (http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?v=2&style=r&where1=TN14+7AD) (pub on opposite side of road to marker).
Simmo, Tompion and I will be there by 12 having a chat and, eventually, a pint.
It'll be good to see any other current, past or new members. Won't even mind non Scorpios turning up - Dave'll be there with his Granny

Well it was 'The last of the Summer Wine' trio supported by Pagey (Trevor). Paul and I in our Scorps and Dave in his Granny. In view of the inclement conditions, it was pouring hard, we were forced to take shelter in the pub early. Just as well as 15 minutes later it was heaving.
I've just spoken to DaveN and Joe telling them that in raising a glass to absent friends our thoughts inevitably turned to 'Pop', Dave's late father, who was such a character and so popular with us all. :(

Thanks Mike - we were with you in spirit as I'm sure the old man was as well. Miss the meets (and my Scorpio) don't see many down here but seeing the state off some of the country roads that's hardly surprising :D
