I asked my other half (as she's a nifty seamstress) if she could make me a new one if I got her a nice piece of new leather... She said that leather's a pain to sew and wasn't exactly enthused with the idea...

Anyone else handy with a needle?

...I am at the same position as you re got a nice bit of black leather (significant others trollys) cos her bum dont fit them any more. }{ But it does keep me warm at night, te he.
So during the winter evenings I will be sewing a new gaiter by hand. Oh how the time will fly by.........
