hi all,

myself and paulscorp today aquired the above car. (i needed the gearbox). most of the car is available.

car colour is BELLADONNA (mauve purple)

the car is not the face lifted model.

there is no gearbox, grill, front bumper,(not checked the rear yet) bonnet or o/s/f headlamp available. most other parts are.

full black raven leather is available, but drivers side metal base is u/s.

only got it today, so bare with us.

craig's got first shot at the resonator.

let us know, and we'll have a look,

Do you have a good Heater Blower Control (HBC) available

ford_son_major,

i am presuming that it is the control on the dash you need,(yes/no) and we have got both, i know the climate control one works fine, but the digital display on one side is missing. i have yet to test the normal HBC from this estate, which is not the climate type.

I could do with a load cover , the rear wiper arm and the traction control switch from the centre console if you guys have them

we will check for the other bits too highlander, but i dont think this one has a traction control switch fitted, we will let you know asap.

just checked docs,

i was told it was a 98R, but looking at v5, 1st reg is 21/08/97, still on an R plate.

Hi highlander,

Russ is right, there is no traction control and load cover is missing, but woohoo!! do have rear wiper arm lol 1out of 3 is a bit glum lol

kenboy, idle speed control valve is still there, as we've not removed much yet, will get back to you asap.

martin1444. prop still available, i guess its too heavy to post are you localish? we are ashford kent M20 J9/10.

Russ/Paul.....for your information, the HBC is the piece of kit that sits in the top of the heater box under the bonnet below the windscreen. It has 3 sets of wires going to it and is secured with 2 black x head screas. When you remove it, iot has a really big heat sink on it, this is what Mike in Luton is after

the cable that runs across the back axle, for the hand brake?
we do still have it, still on the vehicle at present, i will check its condition and get back to you.

hi chris,

had a good look at cable and casing etc today, and to be honest, its no good to anyone mate. cable is braided, and showing through the casing. i'm pretty sure that's an mot failure in itself, and i wouldn't fit it to my car at all.

sry we cant help you this time, and i will keep my eyes open for you in the near future.

I need a automatic temprature control module and possibly the air con module that sits in the dash - I have faulty ad out on passenger side.

we have two abs control units, one removed from the '97 2.3 we are breaking, and another one, removed from a '98, but unsure of engine size at moment, give me a few days, and i will check the part no.

sry stafford, we have still got the gearbox, but it will go into my scorp, when the current box finally gives up. oddly enough, we bought this car, just for the box, and still havent fitted it.
