i have a 98 `r` plate 2.3 facelift estate i am thinking about breaking which is a catagory c(minimal damage) high mileage but runs beautifully can anyone please let me know what bits i could mibby break off it cheers

well, if the front ends good, all lights and bumpers incl rear , wheels and tyres ( if they're multi spoke, fitted to ultima) leather, cat, auto gear box (if your sure its 100%), cd player, multi changer if it has one, rear shocks if they are good,if the engine isnt to clever, definatly keep hold of the inlet manifold, but dont break a good engine!, egr valve, idle speed control valve. auto dip rear view mirror, air con compressor (be careful), heater blower control unit, and more im sure.

p.s if you do break, and the front bumper is good, any chance of 1st refusal? mine is cracked in two places :-/

sorry for not replying sooner but needed to use the estate for a bit until 1 day it would not start, put it in a garage only to be charged £190 for 2 fuse boxs but man did mot the car(2 advisories to repair) so now don`t know wether to fix and try sell or break and try get some of my money back car is located just outside glasgow cheers

Hi, what bits would you need to repair yours?

im breaking an Estate in Edinburgh, dont give up on it yet. ;D

That wasnt the black one on ebay recently was it?

i m very interested in the headlights if there good. are they the darker ones as its a r plate???? cheers

thanks to every one for the replys but got an offer of £500 for it so gave it away but kept the 16in alloys to use on my wifes saloon over the winter, hi highlander, it was a silver car thanks again all

hi highlander, na sold the estate but know the guy who`s got it and know hes looking for the rear passenger side d/shaft was going to keep it as it drove great but it lost out to my wifes LPG saloon cheers
