Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by Paul B on Feb 18th, 2006, 9:59pm 'tis quite nice. He did have quite a few problems over that gearbox though. Not 100% sure if the problems were solved either :-/ If I remember correctly, he bought that from another member on here (since departed I think) John N, who fitted all the DVD stuff. |

Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by music_master on Feb 19th, 2006, 5:55pm with washer jets paul i cant see them m8 ??? |
Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by music_master on Feb 19th, 2006, 5:57pm also i dont see the dar fog lamps too m8 |
Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by Paul B on Feb 19th, 2006, 6:06pm Remember, this is not an Ultima but a Ghia. I'm not certain if it would have had washers in the bumper. As for fog lights, I think the front ones are the dummy ones. |

Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by bobtheyop on Feb 19th, 2006, 6:55pm no air con either, being the 6000 radio doesn't look as if it's got the cd changer ! |
Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by Snoopy on Feb 19th, 2006, 9:03pm It has got A/C but NOT SATC as on the Ultima model.... |
Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by Simmo on Feb 19th, 2006, 9:23pm ......and surely that is a CD slot at the top of the radio!. |
Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by Baz on Feb 20th, 2006, 10:39am The Ghia model on the Scorpio was eventually the entry level model (after the Executive was abandoned) I suppose they did this to show how much was on the Ultimas compared to other cars. The Ghia model was in effect the equivilant of maybe an LK or similar with the Ghia-X being the GL equivilant and the Ultima being the Ghia equivilant; so it stands to reason that the Ghia model (being the base model) doesn't have all the toys |

Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by leftofcentre on Feb 20th, 2006, 12:08pm Still Reserve not met @ £1500?? Those screens can be picked up off Ebay for less than £100 btw. DVD also. :-/ Would rather have a car where gearbox isnt going to fail rather than have a telly in the roof. Just my opin tho :P |
Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by Baz on Feb 20th, 2006, 6:59pm don't know, at least you can sit in the back and watch the telly while you wait for the AA man!! I like his back lights too....wonder where he got that idea from? |
Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by leftofcentre on Feb 20th, 2006, 7:37pm yeeeesssss (in a Lloyd Grossman tone) I was considerin' it too (the lights) but decided against it for that reason my friend ::) |
Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by Baz on Feb 20th, 2006, 8:07pm Awww. I have two spare sets of rear facelift lights so I am looking to tint a set and ebay them in the near future....should be good for a few quid! Baz |

Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by leftofcentre on Feb 20th, 2006, 8:31pm wasnt bein cute, just dont want to look sad by copying other folk :P |

Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by nic on Feb 20th, 2006, 9:46pm I saw this one after he bought it, at berties and it looked a bit "worn". he had it off the road for a while if i remember, and he paid a handsome sum when he bought it. Looking at his feedback he has bought a volvo 850, or likes to collect haynes manuals. hey what a novelty, a car you can get a haynes manual for Still I will keep my prettier standard facelift estate |

Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by admin on Mar 1st, 2006, 8:52pm Is that the reason that the 'other' site is now down?? Steve |
Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by Ells on Mar 1st, 2006, 11:14pm The other site has moved, so it's permanently down at the old address. :) |
Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by bertie on Mar 15th, 2006, 3:40pm so he has flogged the scorp and by the looks of his feedback, bought a Vectra....... }{ }{ YUK times must be hard if he has to down size ! he got £2250 for the scorpio, so with buying the vectra, he has £2000 spare ;D ;D just tried his site, scorpio unleashed and its down...gone maybe he has renamed it vectwa tunleashed and his number 2 is that merchant banker the captain, he had a vectra eventhough he always was said he was looking for a scorpio allegedly }{ }{ ;D ;D ;D |
Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by nuttyscorp on Mar 15th, 2006, 11:59pm scorpio unleashed is still going strong without vulcan at the helm, its just at a different addy, i would post a link, but not sure if its the right thing to do on ford scorpio, dont want to upset anyone? Russ |

Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by paulscorp on Mar 16th, 2006, 2:27am I don't think you'd need to post alink to upset anyone, sounds like people are already upset ??? |
Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by Paul B on Mar 16th, 2006, 6:42am Yes, Russ is dead right, Unleashed is still going strong. And Paul's right too... people do get upset about it. I always think its a shame they can't work side by side very well. After all, its a different thing they both offer really. |

Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by Baz on Mar 16th, 2006, 9:11am Who Knows now that Vulcan isn't there anymore? Maybe we can set up side by side at Harewood! |

Title: Re: Vulcans 24v Post by nuttyscorp on Mar 28th, 2006, 6:00pm i guess the bloke who bought it didnt like it (weird) if you compare this listing with the first one, you will notice the seller is different, mileage is higher, and there is one more previous owner. Russ |

Same reason the guy who bought my red one sold it, he used to have a diesel mondeo and went to a 24v and didn't realise the financial impact! |
