'tis quite nice. He did have quite a few problems over that gearbox though. Not 100% sure if the problems were solved either :-/

If I remember correctly, he bought that from another member on here (since departed I think) John N, who fitted all the DVD stuff.

Remember, this is not an Ultima but a Ghia.

I'm not certain if it would have had washers in the bumper.

As for fog lights, I think the front ones are the dummy ones.

It has got A/C but NOT SATC as on the Ultima model....

The Ghia model on the Scorpio was eventually the entry level model (after the Executive was abandoned) I suppose they did this to show how much was on the Ultimas compared to other cars.

The Ghia model was in effect the equivilant of maybe an LK or similar with the Ghia-X being the GL equivilant and the Ultima being the Ghia equivilant; so it stands to reason that the Ghia model (being the base model) doesn't have all the toys

Those screens can be picked up off Ebay for less than £100 btw. DVD also. :-/

Would rather have a car where gearbox isnt going to fail rather than have a telly in the roof. Just my opin tho :P

Awww. I have two spare sets of rear facelift lights so I am looking to tint a set and ebay them in the near future....should be good for a few quid!

I saw this one after he bought it, at berties and it looked a bit "worn". he had it off the road for a while if i remember, and he paid a handsome sum when he bought it.

Looking at his feedback he has bought a volvo 850, or likes to collect haynes manuals.

hey what a novelty, a car you can get a haynes manual for

Still I will keep my prettier standard facelift estate

so he has flogged the scorp and by the looks of his feedback, bought a Vectra....... }{ }{ YUK times must be hard if he has to down size ! he got £2250 for the scorpio, so with buying the vectra, he has £2000 spare ;D ;D

just tried his site, scorpio unleashed and its down...gone

maybe he has renamed it vectwa tunleashed and his number 2 is that merchant banker the captain, he had a vectra eventhough he always was said he was looking for a scorpio allegedly }{ }{

scorpio unleashed is still going strong without vulcan at the helm, its just at a different addy,

Yes, Russ is dead right, Unleashed is still going strong.
And Paul's right too... people do get upset about it.

I always think its a shame they can't work side by side very well. After all, its a different thing they both offer really.

we all know what went on when 'we' broke up last year, though most of the 'stuff' did seem to come from one or two particular directions. ;)

yes, the harewood house meet was great. :) hoping for more of the same this year.

i guess the bloke who bought it didnt like it (weird)

if you compare this listing with the first one, you will notice the seller is different, mileage is higher, and there is one more previous owner.

Probably can't afford the fuel bill!! 2000 miles would have costs him nearly 6 fill ups! Same reason the guy who bought my red one sold it, he used to have a diesel mondeo and went to a 24v and didn't realise the financial impact!
